June had started already and I am busy finishing up with a cute book.. so I decided to feature one of the illustration from the book for the month of June and give it a cheerful vibe! Happy June! I am going to be putting some work in progress here as I have been neglecting the blog a bit and paying more attention to my tumblr and instagram..so stay tuned!

These illustrations were made 2 years ago and they were supposed to be some kind of choice cards to be given at schools in Canada about Students' security, safety and health . I don't know if they ever got through but I thought it's a good time to share them ...so if someone sees them at any school let me know :D

  This is another sneak peek from a picture book I was working on ..this time it’s about the story of Moses or Prophet Mosa .
        A sneak peek from a picture book I was working on about the story of Joseph or Prophet Yusuf . Stories like this are challenging to illustrate because there is so much of it out there and also it has a great presence in most world traditions and you still need to be careful about how you visually portray it especially where it will be published. I hope it will come out good printed..can’t wait to see it with text!

This is a cute 2 page story I illustrated about a little boy who wishes and prays to be a superman :D
These are crops from a story I was working on..I was trying some earthy tones but not so bright..the boy here wants to jump over walls like his bigger friends and his older sister is showing him that it is dangerous and he doesn’t have to do it.
Inked Traditionally and colored on Photoshop.

I have no idea why I started makes dozens of simple kaleidoscopic patterns from parts of my earlier illustrations and started laughing at how funny they look .. ..it seems to fight depression!! Did this last month for sketch_Dailies ..the topic was Ursula from "The Little Mermaid" so I did a mash up of her and Obelix..so let's call her "Ursulix" :)
Another illustration for a poem about a boy showing some love to his home and family..I had this idea of pinned fun pictures on a cork-board to give it a personal touch and a sense of intimacy and cherish :) I hope it works for you..does it?
