A #comic I did for Shoghlana a few months ago..will make an English version this weekend :) it’s about a job interviewer and how things don’t usually go smooth.
صفحة كوميكس لصحيفة "شغلانة" عن الانترفيو او المقابلة الوظيفية :) A sneak peek from the comic I finished yesterday..I hope it turned out OK :)
this is just a little teaser..I’ll share more next week :) A part of a 2 pages comic I just finished weeks ago (posted here without any Text balloons) it involves some environmental issues..
The second issue of Shoghlana is out! I had posted a couple of illustrations from this issue before so I won't post them again :) And here is some of the work you can find in the issue.. I had included some info below (under the pictures) about shoghlana if you are interested to know more. ? What is Shoghlana Shoghlana is the first non-profit newspaper that seeks to promote topics related to blue-collar jobs and workers in Egypt. As a newspaper Shoghlana addresses diverse topics and seeks to provide workers with information on employment, to educate them on simple workers’ rights, to give the youth insight on job profiles and express the appreciation towards the work of blue collars. Shoghlana has set its goal to inform, educate and entertain its readers at the same time so these guys, Tayoob and Tayooch are going to be show every once in a while since I do a comic about them every week in Majid Magazine, here is a sneak peak ..I will be posting other stuff and going back to them.
This was included in a book of comics anthology published in Cairo, Egypt 2010
it's called "3 pounds" and it tackles issues like child labour, child abuse, guilt and shame .......... Intoducing: Tayoob & Tayooch... these are 2 twins that are not alike in behaviour at all..as you can see one is on the wild side and the other is a little on the geeky side ..well let's say they both have there goods and bads... These 2 characters -among others- are presented weekly in Majid Magazine..and obviously illustrated by me... I'll post more of that later..but for now I will present this sequence showing a rare appearance of Tayooch wearing eye glasses...you can see his brother (and family) quite surprised!..and that's just to make it (of course) illegible to be a contribution to illustration Friday's "Eye glasses" topic of the week :) well...here is some of Tayoob as well..he's always wearing these thin eye glasses anyway :)..so let's give him some love... I got a copy of a comic book I had illustrated earlier in 2012 :)
Here is a link to a sneak peak : http://www.rubiconpublishing.com/prototype/weebly/TIV/TIV_CloseToHome.html good to see it printed :) |
